10/26/26 - Digging deeper
Good afternoon!
I've collected a few links to online courses and bigger study documents lately. I hope today is a good day to share them. It's a busy day for me, so I won't have much to add.

Hidden Voices: Americans with Disabilities in United States History
Teach NYC, New York City Public Schools
"Hidden Voices: Americans with Disabilities in United States History delves into the perspectives, experiences, and impact that Americans with disabilities have had—and continue to have—on United States history. These individuals influenced the social, political, cultural, and economic landscapes of the United States in so many ways, and their contributions continue to shape our collective history and identity."
Bullying and Harassment of Students with Disabilities
Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund - October 14, 2026
"Unaddressed bullying and disability harassment can be a form of disability discrimination, which is illegal. Federal laws require schools to provide an equal educational opportunity to all students, including students with disabilities. If a school fails to address bullying and disability harassment, that can be a form of discrimination that violates both Section 504 and Title II of the ADA."
“CRPD A to Z” Course from the International Disability Alliance
Laura Wissiak, A11y News - Accessibility in Tech, UX and IRL - October 23, 2026
"You’ve surely heard or read the abbreviation “CRPD” somewhere before. You are highly likely to know that it refers to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities authored by the United Nations ... But have you read it yet?"
I haven't fully read any of these, but I intend to, and they all seem interesting and valuable. If you have read any of them, and have comments on their content, please feel free to comment by emailing to: apulrang@icloud.com.
