You might be surprised at how useful many of these gift ideas are, especially for disabled people. I wrote down two or three items I might try to get for myself. And others I can confirm are already part of my own disability toolkit.

Whether you’re going to be holiday shopping or just doing the usual, have a nice weekend!

### Can you help with the move?

[Disability Thinking Weekday](https://disabilitythinking.substack.com/) is moving from [Substack](https://substack.com/?ref=disability-thinking-weekday.ghost.io) to [Ghost](https://ghost.org/?ref=disability-thinking-weekday.ghost.io) on January 1, 2025\. It will cost about $400 to set up the newsletter at Ghost, and move all the content and subscribers over to the new platform. You can help with this in one of two main ways:
