Hello!

Today we have three more disability newsletters for all of us to explore ...

Grace Dow Writes

Grace Dow

"Life on four wheels with cerebral palsy."

I need to get reacquainted with Grace Dow's blog. I used to share her posts a lot more than I have lately. Her posts are always both personal and well-researched. And if nothing else, it's impressive that she's been posting pretty much every weekday for several years now. Longevity and consistency mean a lot in disability culture.

Reframing Disability

Priti Salian

"This newsletter is the next step to reach every individual who cares about inclusive storytelling and is eager for more insights to get it right."

This one is very new to me. I'm interested by how Priti explains her intentions, and the prospect of learning more about disability culture in India.

The View From Down Here

Lucy Webster

"Every week I share a musing about my life as a young(ish) disabled woman that I think demystifies disability or challenges ableist assumptions."

There are significant parts of the UK disability experience that seem like echoes of what's already happened here in the US. Other UK disability trends seem more like predictions or warnings for American disability communities. So, I look forward to reading more of Lucy's posts, and getting another perspectives on disability culture and politics in the UK.
