Make your voice heard this Autism Acceptance Month
Autistic Self Advocacy Network - April 6, 2026

I like this sort of project. It's the best thing about social media. And that means something. It's been a while since disabled people could say that social media is mostly good for us. It's corrosive and personal. And it turns out to be great at elevating and magnifying not only marginalized and isolated people like disabled people, but also grifters, bullies, and the worst ideas imaginable. Still, the basic framework for our visibility and liberation is still there in the basic components of social media. It's good to see that simple, straightforward social media campaigns still have a place in disability culture. I look forward to seeing what kinds of videos they get.

Have a great weekend!
