‘Am I disabled?’: Confronting your internalised ableism
TEDx Talks - December 5, 2022
Every once in a while I like to check in on disability-related TED Talks. TED is a little past its cultural prime, I think. But I always find talks by disabled people that are at least interesting ... either in good, bad, or indifferent ways. This presentation from three years ago covers territory that's likely to be familiar to most people reading this newsletter. There's nothing too surprising or new here. Still, it's well delivered. And there are still millions of people with disabilities for whom these ideas would land as revelations, even today.
Have a pleasant weekend!
