"Disability Policy for All with Liz: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of IDEA"

aucdnetwork | YouTube - October 6, 2025

In this video, Liz Weintraub, the Association of University Centers on Disabilities' Senior Advocacy Specialist, interviews Carrie Gillipsie, Early Development & Disability Project Director at New America on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act in the US. They specifically focus on Part C, which covers "Early Intervention" services for disabled infants and young children, and their families. This often seems to me like a neglected segment of disability communities and culture. It's certainly neglected by me, which may be one reason I found this interview so interesting and energizing.

Have an excellent weekend!
