But I couldn't find anything I disagree with in what she says about how ICE agents treated an autistic woman the other day. No matter what you think about US immigration laws and practices, ICE is clearly an out of control menace at this point. And its agents pretty obviously either don't *care* about anyone's disability, haven't a clue how to *interact* with disabled people, or are straightforwardly *hostile* to anyone "in their way" who says they have a disability. I don't find it hard at all to imagine one of these agents getting *angrier,* instead of more careful, upon hearing the woman say she's autistic. At the very least, anyone with any kind of disability would be *entirely rational* to feel at higher risk anywhere near ICE agents. And since they can be literally anywhere at any time, that's extra terrifying. By the way ... If you think something like, "Then why did she go hang around an ICE action in the first place?" 1\. If she went there on purpose to witness and protest, or just have a quick look at what it was all about, that's her right, and *nobody* should assaulted for it, and 2\. Apparently, ICE can be anywhere, at any time, unannounced. So it's just as possible that she had no interest at all in the ICE action and was literally in the wrong place at the wrong time.
